I just got the word that The Montgomery County Playhouse in Gaithersburg (formed in 1926) will be performing A Midsummer Nights Dream this April… I’m not a “Theater” person, and have no clues about the various company’s in the area, but looking at their website it seems they’ve had a long and prestigious run. Having Goldie Hawn (an Oscar winner), and Tony award winner George Grizzard perform on their stage in the past. With “Midsummer” being one of my favorite’s I will definitely check this one out. (That’ll be two Midsummers in 2010 I will be catching so far.)
